Description

A 20pp pamphlet wrapped in a poster, to coincide with the first showing of Garry Fabian Miller’s film Last Evenings at the Victoria and Albert Museum on Saturday 13th October 2018. A soundtrack by the cellist and composer Oliver Coates was performed live and the event celebrated the opening the same weekend of the museum’s new Photography Centre. The 240mm x 175mm pamphlet includes frames from the film, lines by Alice Oswald and prefigures a continuing collaboration between photographer, musician and poet in 2019. The pamphlet opens with two of the 17 Fabian Miller artworks used in Last Evenings and continues with a sequence of six frames extracted from the film, showing the moment when they appear, in minutes and seconds from the beginning.
