This edition of air mail envelopes, containing one or more of eight poems written by Alice Oswald for The Battle of the Winds, was commissioned for a Cultural Olympiad community theatre piece on Weymouth Sands in July 2012 by Desperate Men and Cirque Bijou. The mail was designed for print with the same ephemeral windblown qualities in mind as the beach theatre.
