An A2 broadsheet to mark the thirtieth anniversary in July 2012 of The Sharpham Trust, a charity based on the Sharpham Estate which overlooks the river Dart in Devon. In the form of a ‘letter to Captain Pownoll concerning his property’, it remembers the moment in 1762 when Philemon Pownoll captured the treasure ship Hermione and used his cut to buy and improve Sharpham House.
